Lewis got 3 years

As predicted Lewis will now do some serious time!

He is caged and will do about 2 years then get out on a licence!

Sad really - what has he achived except ruin his own life?

The farm is still open - the tiny protests that happen can't even be seen !

What a waste! SHACWATCH blames those who don't do but encorage other, younger activists to try, and fail - you know who we mean Lyn.

More to be caged soon!

He will only do half minus remand time and possibly time on tag.

yeah - but unlike more realistic SHAC activists he maintained his innocence and allowed his parents to stand a huge surety - so he has no remand time to take off!

He spent 3 months in prison so that should be taken off.

Lewis is I am told very, very angry because he knows who stupidity it was that resulted in his conviction. Will he I wonder decide to take his revenge ?

Talking of prisoners over at Indylies long time SHAC supporter Lynn Sawyer continues her path to total stupidity by pledging her support for a police killer

Is there no cause that appalling woman will not support in her desire for publicity ?

I love the way shac are one step ahead of the terminally stupid police. Wish they would get themselves a decent lawyer though.

The key is this:
not putting one or two away for a long time, or putting many away for a few weeks, but in putting all of them away at the same time, for however long the courts are prepared to sentence them for.

It's a group delusion, just needs breaking. Which is why it is important, also, to displace the Vegan Prisoners Support Group from their lives whilst in jail, because this is the mechanism by which their brainwashing and control is kept up while they are off the streets.

The prison authorities must meet the needs of prisoners so that they are not obligated to outside bodies whose basic purpose is to make them re-offend immediately upon release! And that's a sensible approach across the entire spectrum and not just for SHAC

I'm missing the bit where 'SHAC are one step ahead' - they are going to prision faster - is that what you mean?

What a bunch of vegans said...

Talking of failure.....

A SHAC offshoot called West Yorkshire Animal Rights Group (three unhealthy vegans with a need for self publicity) are rapidly becoming the new laughing stock of the AR movement. Fresh from their failure at the university they then decided that Leeds was "fur free" then they discovered it wasn't, then for reasons only they understood they once again declared it was !

This week they have discovered that a shop sells key rings with a tiny bit of fur on them (it's a by product of the clothing industry) of course to any self respecting SHAC type this is a situation close to the Holocaust for importance so a 'campaign' has been started.

Meanwhile the people of the area recognising the actual important things happening in the world have been raising money for the people of Haiti.

SHAC and West Yorkshire Animal Rights Group - more out of touch with reality every day.

Well if you call rescuing dozens of rabbits from torture and death "failure" then you obviously have no idea how the mind of an animal rights activist works!

SHACWATCH said...

Shacwatch couldn't agree more - we have no idea how (if!) the mind of an AR extremist works.
In order to assist we will offer this definition of failure -

Raid farm rescue rabbits and damage property - get caught - go to prison.
Attempt to re attack farm as it hasn't closed down - all get caught - 2 plead guilty and go to prison - discover crime you pleaded guilty to didn't happen!

Now that's failure - SHAC style

See:

Does anyone know of any SHAC, PETA IFAW or general ALF benefactor who might fit the profile of the Montreal Millionaire that Kitty refers to as "Cyril R." (probably for excellent legal reasons.)

The link about Cyril R. has been changed, within the past few hours, apparently as part of the author's re-locating of her site, and hopefully not in panic because Medawar referenced it!

Get caught? Doing what?Leaving the undamaged farm?
You should provide the public with all the information or none at all. Have you ever considered that these individuals were scared and took a plea deal as their only option? The girl (who went to trial for almost 2 weeks I think)was acquitted. 2 weeks of evidence and no case to answer for? Thousands and thousands spent, lots of police involvement, went high up in prosecution and nothing. What does that amount to? No evidence=innocent.

SHACWATCH said...

Wrong! - as usual - she wasn't acquitted - the judge stopped the case as the farmer gave evidence that there was no damage nor harm - thus no aggravated trespass.
The problem was the other two had already admitted their guilt - so they were guilty by definition - which is why both did full term and then got released on licence. It was the breech of the terms of his licence that had Dean recalled when he got caught shoplifting.
SHACWATCH - the truth you deserve - the detail SHAC want to conceal

That was used as one reason, yes but overall there was no evidence to support anything Gerry was trying to claim. The girl even started giving evidence. She was innocent and so were the lads.

SHACWATCH said...

You really can't grasp this can you - they were guilty as they said they were - they addmited their intentions and naturally were imprisioned. The trial was stopped becuase the evidence given by the victim meant that the offence of aggravated tresspass was no longer made out - thus the trial was stopped.

This was an increasingly common case of SHAC prisoners admitting their guilt - Greg and nat did and others are following.

No copper, you are the one who is wrong. You lost and a young girl won. Pretty embarassing eh? All that money spent too..Poor Gerry. I guess she needed the practice though.

Dear me - this is positive proof of the effect of a vegan diet on mental capacity.

Let's try this - in this trial 2 of the 3 defendants went to prison
Now - who lost?
