A perfect example of how and why SHAC has become such a problem for the animal rights movement. They are a liability, a hindrence to us moving forward, a step backwards in achieving what we all want.

The senior people in SHAC have always had the same attitude, the "with us or against us" view. They hate with a passion those who favour alternative routes to the same goal because it takes away the spotlight from them and most importantly sources of money.

I have become more and more convinced recently that SHAC today is more about finance and the lifestyle choices of those at the top then it is the cause of animal liberation and rights.

When the story of AR is written years from now I think that there will be a realisation of the damage done by SHAC.

Although, all the damage that all the SHAC trials has done to animal rights put together, is as naught to what's going to happen when the Sab who used a Gyrocopter to decapitate a hunt supporter in Warwickshire, goes on trial.

Good point - who was in that gyrocopter?

Former SHAC Supporter raises an interesting point about the unofficial hierachy within the organisation. SHAC of course pushes a line of it being a group without leaders or a command structure but I wonder how many supporters know the truth about the control of the bank accounts, the houses, the expenses and the money that Gregg still controls from prison.

The Co-Op bank has a healthy account and I know who the signaturers are, would shacwatch be interested in publishing that information ?
