and another demo failure....

Well at least they managed four at this demo. Their attempt to disrupt Barclays on the 1st of May in Birmingham billed by SHAC in advance as a key demo attracted the grand total of ......

wait for it .......

TWO PEOPLE

I bet that Barclays just can't stand this kind of pressure. To add to their hopeless day one women thought they were tramps looking for a food handout and offered them some money for a sandwich:-)

The falling numbers on demos has been an issue for Shac for some time but a much more important problem is the falling money supply. Shac for its income has always been dependant on three sources, the street collections and monthly direct debits paid by supporters together with Virginia Steele's support. Both of the cash generators have fallen since widespread publicity was given to how the money was spent.

The current money problems of Virginia Steele are also adding to their woes.

Kevin Kjonaas over in the US has sent some money raised from American supporters but they too are facing financial problems.

In the end Shac may fail simply because Gregg Avery spent all the money !
