All plead Guilty - That explains it!

SHAC defeated the Crowns desire for a massive repressive show trial by all pleading guilty.

SHAC defeated the Crowns desire for a massive repressive show trial by all pleading guilty. This prevents the NETCU ‘urban terrorist’ lies being re-issued endlessly. SHAC, an international campaign group calling for the closure of HLS, has been painted by the police and the press as a 'criminal organisation' duping members of the public concerned with animal abuse into donating their money to further 'a campaign of blackmail'. SHAC's activities, however, have been overwhelmingly lawful: the campaign publishes information about animal abuse inside HLS labs, reports campaigning activities and issues action alerts calling on supporters to write polite letters to companies working with HLS and ask them to desist. If those companies continue to do business with HLS, protests would usually follow. . Despite this all defendants tactically pleaded guilty and will be sentenced in October.

Well done all six defendants – you are hero’s
SHAC Winchester

Yes - Hero's in cages

Ah yes that old tactical plan of pleading guilty to something to show everybody how you are innocent !

Although I'm sure this attempt at spin will be fine for useful idiots like Lynn others will not be fooled. No wonder SHAC worked so hard with their friends at Indylies to keep a news blackout !

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !

So SHAC is claiming that this bunch of vegans were all innocent but instead chose to plead guilty to prevent the prosecution presenting evidence ?

Even Alastair Campbell could not have done better.

Thanks SHACWATCH - this post will keep me laughing all evening.

Well at least they put a brave face and tried to put some spin on the guilty pleas , what sort of spin will they come out with when they get sentanced. My bet is that they are all heading for the slammer , question is , for how long ?. shacwatchers keep the information comming in to the boys in blue .

The useful idiots at Indymedia UK try their best to help out their hapless SHAC chums by hiding the truth

"shacwatchers keep the information comming in to the boys in blue"?
Hmm, interesting thing to say.
You know, it's only a matter of time before someone works out who writes this blog. Someone's going to be in a spot of bother then eh?

Why so? Shacwatch publishes facts that SHAC and Indymedia try and hide - such as the 6 guilty pleas now hidden on indylies without explanation – We publish about 50% of all positive comments we are sent and about 70% of the stupid pro SHAC comments (those without the pottymouth words).
It may be that Police read SHACWATCH – we know SHAC does.

A surprisingly nice response from you SHACWATCH.
This is a blog. Yes there are some facts but you refer to a lot of newspaper articles and also incorporate your own views which includes slagging individuals off (sometimes seems a little personal?) I certainly hope the police do not read this but I expect they do, and a lot more too.
I don't like SHAC and this blog is like marmite to me.

The lies over on Indymedia UK just keep coming. Having at the request of a couple of SHAC people hidden the article that documents the extent of the failure following yesterdays court case Indymedia are instead allowing a "it's all wonderfull really" post to try and rally the troops. One comment includes the phrase,

"about a hundred grands worth of damage done in the last two months, but we dont put out communiques as they help the police to map our movements. "

Impressive stuff, if only it were true. The comment was posted by somebody calling himself "Smash Brigade", again sounds very radical and scary, the cops must be worried.

The truth like most things Indymedia and SHAC related is very different, "Smash Brigade" is a 17 year old Zoology student at Southampton University who has attended exactly two Hunt Sabbing trips and once stood with a SHAC banner for a while outside Astra Zeneca. There was no "hundred grands worth of damage", there was no damage. He did nothing, his mates did nothing.

More SHAC lies, more Indymedia lies, more SHAC failure.

Has anybody considered a link between a Vegan diet and criminality ?

Just a thought

On a day that had a lot of bad news for science in the UK, with major funding cuts on the way, the news that all six of these SHAC idiots have pleaded guilty was a little ray of sunshine.

There was other good news though, the EU has agreed a new directive on animal research that's pretty sensible overall, much to the chagrin of SHAC and their ilk I suspect http://www.pro-test.org.uk/b2evo/index.php?blog=5&title=eu_parliament_approves_new_directive&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

You can't criticise Indymedia for censoring posts on their website if you're doing the same.

"It's only a matter of time before someone works out who writes this blog".

Yes, but between now and then, several wild, random and utterly irrational guesses will be made, which will lead to the wrong person entirely being fingered, usually by someone who knows full well that they are fingering the wrong person for their own grubby little personal motives.

Yes we can and do criticise Indylies for censorship - it is they that pretend to the moral high ground and oppose censorship but cannot help themselves hiding news of their frequent failures - SHACWATCH has only one purpose - to expose the lies of SHAC as it disolves - and it is doing so at great speed.
BTW We have nothing particular against Vegans except that all of the SHAC and ALF conspiritors flaunt their veganism as a badge. Thus veganism is morrally dubious as 'by their actions shall ye know them'

Other good news

Robert Griffiths who was released earlier this month will be getting the help he needs and several family members are working to keep him away from SHAC.

A spokesman for the family made a brief statement,

Robert has had a difficult time as his type of mental illness makes him very suseptible to suggestion. This illness was exploited by individuals in the animal liberation movement who used him to carry out actions they were too cowardly to do."
