Hate Crimes punished

Five animal rights activists have been jailed for intimidating staff at firms linked to a Cambridgeshire animal testing laboratory.

Nicole Vosper, Sarah Whitehead, Thomas Harris, Nicola Tapping and Jason Mullan were jailed for between 15 months and six years.

They admitted targeting staff from the supply firms of Huntingdon Life Sciences, Winchester Crown Court heard.

Alfie Fitzpatrick, 21, received a 12-month suspended prison sentence.
He also admitted taking part and was ordered to complete 100 hours of community work.

Harris and Tapping are from Gosport in Hampshire while Jason Mullen is from London and Fitzpatrick from Solihull, West Midlands.

Vosper is from Newquay in Cornwall and and Whitehead is from Littlehampton, West Sussex.

The six were all members of a group called Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC).
The court heard how the group waged an international campaign of intimidation against a host of companies to try to force the closure of Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS).

Whitehead, 53, of Thorncroft Road, was jailed for six years and made the subject of a 10-year anti-social behaviour order when released.
Vosper, 22, was jailed for three-and-a-half years and given a five-year anti-social behaviour order.

SHAC B team face the deadline

The rest of SHAC - those not already in jail - were given until Friday the 18th of September to admit their guilt.
If they fail this simple task they will get no discount when they are found guilty - just like Heather was.
Now are they feeling lucky? After all their co-conspirators were found guilty on the same evidence they face (those that hadn't already pleaded guilty, like Greg).
Or are they unable to face the consequences of their actions?

Here is a clue for them - you did it - you are guilty.
Admit it and go to jail - or don't and go to jail for longer - it's not that hard to work out.
The one choice you no longer have is NOT to got to jail - but nobody forced you to join SHAC.

Coming soon - the deluge of guilt

Coming soon - The also rans of the SHAC conspiracy have only a few weeks left to make their guilt public or they will forfeit any potential discount they could get off their prison terms.
The choice is stark as they are guilty as charged and their leaders admitted both the conspiracy and their part in it - so they had better prepare for a number of years away!

They will get no sympathy here .

They have made their beds and are all now whining - Greg 'Guilty' AVERY 2007

A Summer of SHAC Guilt

As we head into summer SHACWATCH is minded to preview the many defeats that await the remnants of SHAC.

Starting soon is the trial of Lewis Pogson - leader of the group that committed the original burglary in Lincolnshire.

Soon to plead guilty is poor old Sarah Whitehead - already convicted of burglary and lies awaiting punishment for her part in the disgusting blackmail that the more important SHAC leaders have already admitted.

Then we have the tweedle dumm and tweedle dee of SHAC - Harris and Tapping - vainly trying to run the campaign while all the adults are locked up - don't worry kids - you can follow them to jail soon! BTW you might want to follow Michell Vospers example and plead quickly.

Does that about wrap it up? - tell us if there are more SHACWATCHERS.
